Vehicle modification legality varies drastically by state, province, and municipality. We make no guarantee regarding the safety, reliability, emissions compliance, inspection success, or legality of any modifications discussed. Content geared toward track or off-road use may not be lawful on public roads.
2.3 User-Generated Content Disclaimer
Community advice, forum posts, and user-submitted build guides may be inaccurate, untested, or unsafe. You rely on such information strictly at your own risk.
2.4 Assumption of Risk for DIY Repairs

Users are strictly prohibited from using the Site to market, sell, offer, request, promote, solicit, facilitate, link to, or provide instructions for unlawful emissions tampering, "defeat devices," or other products or conduct prohibited by applicable environmental or vehicle laws. This includes, but is not limited to, EGR, DPF, or DEF delete kits that bypass or render inoperative required emissions control systems in violation of Section 203 of the U.S. Clean Air Act or the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). Violators may face content removal, account suspension, or account termination.
4. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewals, Billing, and Refunds
If you purchase a premium subscription or digital goods via the Site, the billing frequency, price, and other material terms will be clearly disclosed before enrollment. By subscribing, you expressly authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Where applicable, we comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Canadian notice-and-notice regime, and we may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DRIVURS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THESE TERMS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) CAD $100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Drivurs, ScanAI Technologies Inc., and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to your use of the Site, your UGC, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
9.1 Disputes and Forum
To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
9.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction of residence apply and cannot be waived.
