These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Drivurs mobile application, website, APIs, and related services, including community, garage, event, discovery, shop, mechanic, service-request, booking, scheduling, messaging, notification, review, and related operational features (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are operated by ScanAI Technologies Inc. (“ScanAI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). In these Terms, “Drivurs” refers to the product and service operated by ScanAI, not to a separate legal entity.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Material updates may require in-app review and acceptance before you can continue using affected features.
1. Who We Are and What We Do
Drivurs is an online automotive community, discovery, and service-connection platform that allows users to showcase vehicles, track modifications, participate in communities and clubs, discover and host events, share media, communicate with other enthusiasts, discover shops and mechanics, request automotive services, manage service-related communications, and submit reviews or reports where those features are available.
Certain Drivurs features are governed by additional terms, including the Drivurs Shop Agreement, Drivurs Mechanic Agreement, Drivurs Service User Terms, Event Host Agreements, Participant Waivers, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Addendum, and other product-specific terms or policies. Those additional terms are incorporated into these Terms by reference when you use the relevant features.
Drivurs is not:
- a transportation, ride-hailing, towing, dispatch, roadside-assistance, emergency, or logistics provider;
- an auto repair shop, mechanic, garage, dealership, inspection station, certification service, body shop, detailing shop, emissions-testing provider, parts supplier, tuning service, or professional automotive advisory service;
- a vehicle inspection, certification, safety testing, roadworthiness, warranty, recall, or insurance-verification service;
- a driving school, racing organizer, track operator, or motorsports sanctioning body;
- an insurer, insurance broker, warranty provider, surety, guarantor, fiduciary, or provider of insurance coverage;
- an employer, staffing agency, employment agency, union, trade-certification body, credentialing authority, or contractor-management service for shops or mechanics;
- a vehicle, parts, repair, or service marketplace, broker, dealer, agent, escrow agent, or payment processor unless expressly stated in separate commerce terms; or
- a party to any service, repair, diagnostic, inspection, modification, towing, detailing, purchase, sale, or payment arrangement between users, shops, mechanics, or other third parties.
All meetups, drives, convoys, track days, shows, service appointments, inspections, repairs, diagnostics, modifications, estimates, quotes, and other offline activities you learn about, host, attend, request, or perform through Drivurs are organized, provided, authorized, or performed by independent users or third parties, not by ScanAI unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by ScanAI.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services.
- If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your activities.
- You must be at least 18 years old to host events, act as a run leader, create or manage a shop, register or act as a mechanic, accept a service-related role, request service for a vehicle, authorize work on a vehicle, bind a business, or enter into service-related obligations through the Services, unless a parent or legal guardian or other authorized representative is legally responsible for the transaction and the feature expressly allows that workflow.
- If you create or manage a shop or register another person as a mechanic, you represent that you have authority to act for that business or person and that all information you provide is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
We may restrict, suspend, or require additional verification for your account or service-related features where required by law, platform policy, safety, fraud prevention, or risk controls.
3. Driving, Events, and Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your own driving and conduct. This includes:
- complying with traffic, safety, distracted-driving, and vehicle laws;
- maintaining your vehicle in safe and roadworthy condition;
- ensuring that you hold required licenses, registrations, and insurance;
- evaluating weather, road, and traffic conditions before and during drives; and
- determining whether any event, route, service, shop, mechanic, or group is appropriate for your skill, comfort level, vehicle, and legal obligations.
Drivurs does not inspect vehicles, routes, shops, mechanics, drivers, hosts, venues, or service providers and does not guarantee that any event, route, waypoint, meetup, shop, mechanic, service, or offline interaction is safe, legal, available, insured, or appropriate.
You may not use the Services to plan, promote, coordinate, or participate in illegal activity, including illegal street racing, speed contests, reckless driving, unlawful street takeovers, unlawful emissions defeat, title/VIN fraud, odometer fraud, stolen-property activity, counterfeit-parts activity, or unlawful phone use while driving.
Track, timing, and performance content is intended for lawful, controlled environments. We do not endorse the use of telematics or performance features on public roads.
If you need to interact with the Services while travelling, do so only when lawfully parked or through a lawful hands-free workflow where permitted by law.
4. Events, Clubs, and Meetups
The Services may allow users to create or join public or private events, drives, meetups, clubs, communities, run groups, waypoints, and related structures.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by ScanAI:
- event hosts, club owners, moderators, and run leaders are independent users and are not employees, contractors, agents, or representatives of ScanAI;
- we do not vet or certify hosts, clubs, venues, or routes; and
- we do not supervise or manage events, enforce safety rules, or provide on-site staff.
Hosts and clubs are solely responsible for obtaining permits, permissions, venue agreements, waivers, and insurance required by law or venue policy.
5. Discover Services, Shops, Mechanics, and Service Requests
The Services may allow users to discover independent shops, mechanics, service providers, service offerings, availability, booking slots, business profiles, reviews, and related information. The Services may also allow shops or authorized team members to create profiles, list services, manage schedules, invite mechanics, receive service requests, communicate with customers, and respond to reviews or reports.
5.1 Independent shops and mechanics
Shops, mechanics, service providers, managers, team members, and other providers are independent from ScanAI. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by ScanAI, they are not employees, contractors, agents, partners, joint venturers, franchisees, or representatives of ScanAI.
ScanAI does not control how independent shops or mechanics diagnose, repair, inspect, modify, store, tow, detail, price, quote, estimate, invoice, warranty, or perform services on vehicles. ScanAI does not take possession, custody, or control of vehicles or vehicle keys, and does not supervise service work.
5.2 No endorsement, certification, or guarantee
Drivurs may display profile information, address-verification status, ratings, reviews, availability, service offerings, or other platform signals. These signals are informational only and do not mean that ScanAI endorses, certifies, licenses, insures, employs, supervises, guarantees, or recommends any shop, mechanic, service, estimate, price, booking slot, repair, modification, inspection, diagnostic result, or customer.
Unless the Services expressly say otherwise, ScanAI does not verify professional licenses, registrations, permits, insurance, certifications, employment status, background checks, repair quality, shop equipment, mechanic qualifications, pricing, estimates, warranties, or compliance history.
5.3 Shop and mechanic responsibilities
Shops, mechanics, managers, and service providers are solely responsible for:
- holding and maintaining all licenses, registrations, permits, certifications, tax accounts, insurance, business authorizations, and legal authority required for their services and locations;
- complying with all applicable federal, state, county, city, licensing, consumer-protection, automotive-repair, estimate, authorization, invoice, warranty, storage, lien, environmental, hazardous-materials, emissions, safety, workplace, employment, contractor, advertising, privacy, tax, and accessibility laws;
- providing accurate business, address, service, price, estimate, schedule, availability, credential, and team information;
- obtaining any required customer authorization before inspecting, diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, modifying, storing, moving, towing, test-driving, or charging for work on a vehicle;
- explaining prices, estimates, quotes, fees, taxes, warranties, parts, substitutions, delays, cancellation rules, and limitations directly to customers as required by law;
- handling customer vehicles, keys, property, data, and communications safely and lawfully;
- making sure that any mechanic or team member they invite or register is authorized, qualified, legally permitted, and has agreed to applicable Drivurs terms before receiving access or being assigned work; and
- resolving customer disputes, workmanship concerns, refunds, warranty claims, charge disputes, property-damage claims, injury claims, and regulatory complaints arising from their services.
5.4 Customer responsibilities
Customers are solely responsible for evaluating whether a shop, mechanic, service, estimate, quote, booking time, location, review, or recommendation is suitable for them and their vehicle. Before authorizing work, you should review the provider’s identity, qualifications, location, licensing or registration where required, insurance where relevant, estimate, scope of work, pricing, warranty, cancellation policy, and any state or local consumer rights that apply to the transaction.
You authorize any service work, inspection, diagnosis, repair, modification, storage, test drive, pickup, drop-off, mobile visit, or payment directly with the independent shop or mechanic, not with ScanAI, unless separate written commerce terms expressly state otherwise.
5.5 Service requests, bookings, and availability
A service request, booking request, booking slot, appointment, confirmation, reminder, message, or calendar entry shown through Drivurs is a platform workflow. It is not a guarantee that a shop or mechanic will accept a request, be available, perform work, complete work by a specific time, charge a specific price, use a specific part, fix a problem, maintain a warranty, or comply with every law.
Quotes, estimates, price ranges, durations, availability, service descriptions, cancellation policies, and warranties are provided by independent shops or mechanics unless clearly stated otherwise. Drivurs is not responsible for inaccurate, incomplete, expired, unavailable, unlawful, or misleading provider information.
5.6 Payments and offline transactions
Unless Drivurs expressly launches a payment feature governed by separate payment terms, payments, deposits, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, tips, warranty claims, and other financial arrangements for service work are handled directly between the customer and the independent shop or mechanic. Drivurs is not an escrow agent, payment processor, money transmitter, financing provider, lender, or guarantor for those transactions.
5.7 No emergency or safety-critical reliance
Drivurs is not an emergency service, roadside-assistance provider, safety-monitoring service, recall-monitoring service, or substitute for professional judgment. If a vehicle is unsafe, if someone is injured, if a fire, crash, theft, breakdown, hazardous spill, or other emergency occurs, call emergency services or appropriate roadside/professional assistance.
6. User Content and Community Features
The Services may include community threads, posts, reactions, messages, garages, vehicle profiles, modification logs, event chats, shop profiles, mechanic profiles where enabled, service offerings, booking messages, service notes, reviews, reports, responses, images, videos, and other features where you and others can create, submit, upload, publish, or share content (“User Content”).
You retain any ownership rights you have in your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant ScanAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display that User Content in connection with operating, improving, marketing, and providing the Services.
You agree not to post or share User Content that:
- is illegal, threatening, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent;
- encourages illegal or reckless driving or promotes self-harm or harm to others;
- advertises or distributes emissions defeat devices or other clearly unlawful vehicle modifications;
- falsely claims that a shop, mechanic, service, part, certification, license, permit, insurance policy, warranty, or inspection has been verified or approved by Drivurs or a government/regulatory body;
- advertises, offers, coordinates, or facilitates services that are illegal where offered or performed, including unlawful emissions defeat, unsafe or unlawful street-use modifications, counterfeit parts, title/VIN fraud, odometer fraud, stolen property, or services requiring permits or handling that the provider does not hold;
- contains fake, purchased, manipulated, undisclosed incentivized, undisclosed insider, or misleading reviews or ratings;
- discloses another person’s private contact, location, vehicle, service, or booking information without authorization;
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or
- contains sexually explicit material involving minors or non-consensual imagery.
We may remove User Content, suspend accounts, or take other enforcement actions in accordance with our Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, and moderation processes.
7. Reviews, Ratings, and Reports
The Services may allow users to save shops or mechanics, submit ratings or reviews, respond to reviews, and report shops, mechanics, reviews, content, bookings, or other users.
Reviews and ratings must reflect a real, good-faith experience and must not be fake, purchased, manipulated, coerced, retaliatory, misleading, AI-fabricated, or submitted by someone who did not have the experience described. You may not review your own shop, yourself as a mechanic, your employer’s or team member’s service, a competitor, or any service where your relationship or incentive would make the review misleading unless the relationship is clearly disclosed and the review is otherwise allowed by our policies.
Shops, mechanics, and users must not offer compensation, discounts, free services, gifts, refunds, threats, intimidation, or other incentives in exchange for positive reviews, negative reviews, review removal, review suppression, or undisclosed endorsements. They must not selectively solicit only positive reviews or discourage lawful negative reviews in a deceptive way.
Drivurs may remove, restrict, label, de-rank, investigate, or refuse to publish reviews, responses, ratings, reports, or other content that we believe violates these Terms, our policies, applicable law, or platform-integrity rules. We do not guarantee that every review is accurate, complete, current, representative, lawful, or from a verified customer unless the Services expressly say so.
Reports submitted through Drivurs help us review potential policy violations, but reporting does not guarantee removal, suspension, refund, emergency response, dispute resolution, or regulatory action. If you have a legal, safety, consumer-protection, insurance, warranty, or repair-quality dispute with a shop or mechanic, you may need to pursue it directly with that provider or through the appropriate government, regulator, insurer, warranty provider, or court.
8. Messaging and Communications
The Services may include direct messages, event chats, booking conversations, shop/customer messages, mechanic/team messages, system messages, emails, push notifications, and other communication tools. You are responsible for your communications and interactions with other users, shops, mechanics, event hosts, and third parties.
You must not use Drivurs to spam, scam, harass, groom, threaten, impersonate others, disclose private information without authorization, interfere with bookings, solicit illegal activity, or send unlawful marketing or commercial messages.
Service-related messages, booking confirmations, service request notices, cancellation notices, reschedule notices, security alerts, account notices, legal notices, and safety notices are operational or transactional communications. Optional marketing communications are separate and may be controlled through available settings or unsubscribe mechanisms where required by law.
If SMS/text messaging is enabled, Drivurs will provide disclosures and obtain consent where required before sending automated or marketing text messages. Do not rely on SMS for urgent, emergency, or safety-critical communications.
We may, but are not obligated to, access, review, preserve, or disclose communications for moderation, safety, legal-compliance, fraud-prevention, service-operation, or abuse-prevention purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The Services and all related content, features, and functionality, excluding User Content, are owned by ScanAI or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
“Drivurs” and related logos are trademarks of ScanAI. You may not use our marks without prior written consent.
You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by these Terms;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our software except where permitted by law; or
- remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, such as mapping, address validation, geocoding, analytics, cloud hosting, communications, email, push notification, payment, calendar, social, identity, moderation, or support platforms. The Services may also display information created by users, shops, mechanics, venues, track operators, sponsors, advertisers, or other third parties.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, independent shops, mechanics, venues, track operators, sponsors, advertisers, payment processors, mapping providers, address-validation providers, or other third parties. Their services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, fees, licenses, warranties, dispute processes, and legal obligations.
A link, integration, map result, address result, booking workflow, rating, review, badge, ranking, recommendation, or search result does not mean that ScanAI endorses, certifies, guarantees, employs, supervises, or is responsible for that third party.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We do not warrant that:
- the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, available, current, or error-free;
- any event, route, waypoint, meetup, shop, mechanic, service offering, booking slot, estimate, quote, price, review, rating, report, message, recommendation, address, map pin, or content will be safe, accurate, complete, current, lawful, available, suitable, or reliable;
- any shop or mechanic is licensed, registered, insured, bonded, certified, qualified, background-checked, available, reputable, compliant, or able to perform a requested service;
- any service request will be accepted, any appointment will occur, any repair or service will be completed, any vehicle issue will be diagnosed or fixed, any part will be available, or any warranty will apply;
- address validation, map data, location data, availability, schedule, notification, email, push, SMS, deep link, or third-party integration outputs will be accurate or available at all times; or
- defects will be corrected.
You are solely responsible for damage to your device, vehicle, property, data, business, reputation, or relationships, and for any loss, injury, dispute, legal claim, regulatory issue, or financial consequence that may result from your use of the Services or your interactions with independent users, shops, mechanics, hosts, clubs, venues, advertisers, or third parties.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions of warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In those cases, warranties are excluded or limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanAI, the Drivurs service, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers (collectively, the “Drivurs Parties”) will not be liable for:
- personal injury, death, emotional distress, inconvenience, or loss of enjoyment;
- property damage, including damage to vehicles, parts, tools, equipment, keys, personal property, devices, garages, shops, or locations;
- repair costs, diagnostic costs, towing costs, rental costs, storage costs, diminution in value, warranty denial, insurance denial, failed inspection, failed emissions test, lost use of a vehicle, or loss of transportation;
- loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, customers, bookings, reputation, data, or anticipated savings;
- disputes, acts, omissions, representations, negligence, misconduct, work quality, pricing, estimates, invoices, authorizations, warranties, cancellations, no-shows, delays, or communications of users, shops, mechanics, event hosts, clubs, venues, advertisers, or other third parties; or
- indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages,
arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services, any event or meetup, any route or waypoint, any service request or booking, any shop or mechanic interaction, any repair or service work, any User Content, any review or rating, any report, any communication, or any third-party service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event will the aggregate liability of the Drivurs Parties to you for all claims relating to the Services exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid directly to ScanAI for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, if any, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Drivurs Parties from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:
- your use of the Services or participation in any event, route, meetup, service request, booking, repair, inspection, diagnostic, modification, or other offline activity;
- your driving, conduct, vehicle, shop, mechanic work, service work, business operations, employment or contractor relationships, or failure to comply with traffic, safety, licensing, registration, insurance, consumer-protection, automotive-repair, estimate, authorization, invoice, warranty, emissions, environmental, tax, privacy, advertising, employment, workplace, or other applicable laws;
- your User Content, shop profile, mechanic profile, service offering, estimate, quote, message, review, rating, report, response, or other content;
- your organization, hosting, or promotion of an event, club, shop, team, mechanic relationship, service offering, or booking workflow;
- any vehicle damage, personal injury, property damage, customer dispute, service dispute, regulatory complaint, charge dispute, refund claim, warranty claim, or insurance claim involving you, your business, your team, your vehicle, your services, or your offline interactions;
- your breach of these Terms, the Shop Agreement, Mechanic Agreement, Service User Terms, or any incorporated policy; or
- your infringement, misappropriation, or violation of any third-party right.
We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us in asserting available defenses.
14. Arbitration, Class Waiver, Governing Law, and Mandatory Rights
For users in the United States, most disputes with ScanAI will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, as described in the separate Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Addendum, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You and ScanAI agree to waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, collective action, private attorney general action, or representative proceeding, except to the extent such waiver is prohibited by law or by the Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Addendum.
The arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Except to the extent federal law controls, the Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Addendum applies, or mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Nothing in these Terms limits, waives, or excludes non-waivable rights you may have under applicable federal, state, local, consumer-protection, privacy, warranty, automotive-repair, advertising, employment, labor, insurance, accessibility, safety, or other laws. If mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in a particular court, tribunal, agency, regulator, or forum, these Terms do not take that right away to the extent it cannot lawfully be waived.
Disputes between customers and independent shops, mechanics, hosts, clubs, venues, advertisers, or other third parties are between those parties. ScanAI is not a party to those disputes unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.
15. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update the Services or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services, by email, in-app notice, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of a material update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except to the extent applicable law requires a different process.
For service-related roles, we may require you to accept updated Terms, Privacy Policy, Shop Agreement, Mechanic Agreement, Service User Terms, or other role-specific terms before you can continue creating shops, managing teams, accepting mechanic roles, sending service requests, accepting bookings, posting service reviews, or using other affected features.

The Service is operated by ScanAI Technologies Inc. (“ScanAI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). In these Terms, “Drivurs” refers to the product and service operated by ScanAI, not to a separate legal entity.

Those additional terms are incorporated into these Terms by reference when you use the relevant features.

We may restrict service-related features for minors or users who cannot lawfully use them.
3. Description & Classification of the Service
Drivurs is a platform that helps users discover automotive content, communities, events, shops, mechanics, and service-related information. Drivurs may provide tools for profiles, listings, service requests, booking workflows, scheduling, messaging, notifications, reviews, reports, saved items, and related platform functionality.
Drivurs is not:
- an auto repair shop, mechanic, garage, dealership, inspection station, certification service, body shop, detailing shop, towing provider, roadside-assistance provider, parts supplier, emissions-testing provider, or professional automotive advisory service;
- a vehicle inspection, certification, safety testing, roadworthiness, warranty, recall, or insurance-verification service;
- a racing organizer, track operator, or promoter of motorsport events;
- a marketplace, dealer, broker, agent, escrow agent, payment processor, warranty provider, guarantor, or fiduciary for the sale, purchase, repair, diagnosis, modification, inspection, or servicing of vehicles, parts, or services unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise;
- an insurer, insurance broker, or provider of any insurance coverage;
- an employer, staffing agency, employment agency, union, trade-certification body, credentialing authority, or contractor-management service for shops or mechanics; or
- a transportation, towing, dispatch, emergency, or ride-sharing service.
Users, shops, mechanics, clubs, event hosts, and other third parties are independent from ScanAI. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by ScanAI, they are not employees, contractors, agents, partners, joint venturers, franchisees, or representatives of ScanAI.
ScanAI does not control, manage, supervise, direct, inspect, certify, guarantee, or warrant:
- how users drive or interact offline;
- whether a shop, mechanic, service listing, quote, estimate, diagnosis, repair, inspection, modification, price, warranty, review, rating, or credential claim is accurate, lawful, safe, complete, current, insured, or suitable;
- whether a shop or mechanic holds any required licence, permit, insurance, trade certification, authorization, business registration, tax registration, workers’ compensation coverage, or other qualification; or
- whether any vehicle is safe, roadworthy, legal, insured, properly registered, properly maintained, or fit for use.
Any automotive service, repair, diagnosis, inspection, modification, estimate, quote, warranty, refund, payment, or dispute is between the relevant customer and the applicable shop, mechanic, or third party, not ScanAI, unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.
4. Prohibited Uses, Illegal Driving & Street Safety
You agree that you will not use the Service to:
- Plan, promote, coordinate, or participate in illegal street racing, stunt driving, or any driving that violates applicable traffic, safety, or criminal laws.
- Encourage or glorify dangerous driving behaviour, including excessive speeding, racing on public roads, drifting in public areas, or impairment by drugs or alcohol.
- Organize events or meetups that lack required permits or permissions, or that otherwise violate local bylaws, public health orders, or other applicable regulations.
- Harass, threaten, or endanger others, including through doxxing, stalking, or encouraging violence or property damage.
- View, type, scroll, upload, message, route-plan, or otherwise manually interact with the Service while operating a motor vehicle in a way that violates distracted-driving or similar laws.
Drivurs does not endorse, encourage, or participate in illegal or dangerous driving. You are solely responsible for:
- your driving decisions;
- your compliance with distracted-driving, traffic, and safety laws;
- ensuring your vehicle is safe, legal, and properly maintained; and
- carrying any required insurance.
If you need to interact with the Service while travelling, do so only when lawfully parked or through a lawful hands-free workflow where permitted by applicable law.
Using the Service in violation of this section is grounds for immediate suspension or termination of your account.
5. No Professional Advice; No Insurance
- No automotive or safety advice. Content on Drivurs (including posts, comments, vehicle builds, modification showcases, events, service listings, shop profiles, mechanic profiles, reviews, and messages) is user-generated or provided by third parties. It may include tuning advice, track tips, mechanical opinions, service information, estimates, or safety suggestions, but it is not professional automotive, mechanical, engineering, safety, or driving-instruction advice from ScanAI. Always consult qualified professionals before modifying, servicing, repairing, or operating your vehicle.
- No legal or regulatory advice. Nothing on Drivurs constitutes legal advice, including regarding road legality, inspection requirements, emissions rules, automotive-service obligations, employment or contractor status, taxes, consumer-protection obligations, or race/event compliance.
- No insurance or guarantees. Drivurs does not provide insurance, does not verify your insurance coverage or that of other users, shops, mechanics, or event hosts, and does not guarantee that any event, route, service, repair, appointment, or activity is safe or covered by any insurance policy.
- No special relationship. Your use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, professional, employment, contractor, agency, partnership, escrow, or other special relationship between you and ScanAI. We do not owe you any duties beyond those expressly set out in these Terms and any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- No verification of service claims. Unless Drivurs expressly labels a specific claim as verified, service listings, shop profiles, mechanic profiles, credential claims, photos, estimates, price ranges, warranty statements, availability, reviews, and ratings are created or influenced by users, shops, mechanics, or third parties. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unlawful.
You rely on any information obtained through the Service at your own risk.
6. Events, Drives & Meetups
- User-hosted events. Events (including drives, track days, meets, shows, and meetups) are created and hosted by users or clubs, not by Drivurs. Hosts are independent and are not agents, employees, or representatives of ScanAI.
- No vetting or supervision. Drivurs does not routinely vet or supervise events, hosts, venues, routes, or participants, and does not guarantee that any event is safe, lawful, or appropriate.
- Host responsibilities. Event hosts are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, permissions, insurance, waivers, and safety measures, and for complying with all applicable laws.
- Your responsibility. If you attend or participate in an event, you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for assessing whether an event is suitable for you and your vehicle, including weather, route, pace, supervision, age eligibility, and safety equipment requirements.
Separate Event Host Agreements and Participant Waivers may apply to specific events and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Vehicle Listings & Modifications
- User-generated data. Vehicle profiles, garages, build lists, and modification records are created by users and may contain errors, omissions, or exaggerations. Drivurs does not verify vehicle specifications, ownership, modifications, performance claims, or condition.
- No vehicle inspections. We do not inspect vehicles, review maintenance history, or confirm whether modifications are safe, legal, or compatible with your vehicle.
- No marketplace or escrow. Unless expressly stated in separate terms, Drivurs is not a marketplace, dealer, broker, or escrow service. Any sale or purchase of vehicles, parts, or services is strictly between users and occurs outside the Service, even if you use the Service to discover each other.
You are solely responsible for verifying the condition, legality, and suitability of any vehicle, part, or service before use or purchase.
8. Shops, Mechanics, and Service-Related Features
Drivurs may allow users to discover shops and mechanics, view service listings, request appointments, send messages, receive booking notifications, save shops or mechanics, and submit reviews or reports. Drivurs may also allow shops to create public profiles, publish service listings, manage schedules, invite mechanics, respond to booking requests, and communicate with customers.
- Additional terms. If you use service-related features, additional role-specific terms may apply, including the Drivurs Shop Agreement, Drivurs Mechanic Agreement, and Drivurs Service User Terms. You must accept the applicable terms before using the related features.
- Independent shops and mechanics. Shops and mechanics are independent third parties. ScanAI does not employ, supervise, train, certify, licence, insure, control, or direct them.
- No service guarantee. ScanAI does not guarantee that any shop, mechanic, service, estimate, quote, diagnosis, repair, inspection, modification, price, warranty, refund, appointment time, review, rating, or communication will be accurate, lawful, safe, complete, current, available, suitable, insured, or completed.
- Customer responsibility. Customers are responsible for deciding whether to contact, hire, authorize, or rely on any shop or mechanic, for confirming service terms directly with the shop or mechanic, and for determining whether any service is appropriate for their vehicle.
- Shop and mechanic responsibility. Shops and mechanics are solely responsible for their services, business operations, listings, estimates, quotes, warranties, taxes, invoices, authorizations, customer communications, employees, contractors, licences, permits, insurance, trade qualifications, workplace-safety obligations, environmental obligations, parts, tools, facilities, mobile-service operations, and compliance with applicable law.
- Province and territory compliance. Automotive service laws, consumer-protection rules, repair-estimate rules, warranty obligations, language requirements, advertising rules, licensing rules, tax obligations, safety requirements, employment/contractor obligations, environmental rules, and dispute processes may vary by province, territory, municipality, service location, shop location, customer location, and vehicle location. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your activities.
- No waiver of mandatory rights. Nothing in these Terms or the service-related terms limits rights or obligations that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection, privacy, language, automotive-service, employment, workplace-safety, tax, or other laws.
- Address and identity signals. Drivurs may display address-verification, location, business-profile, review, rating, or other trust signals. Unless we expressly say otherwise, those signals do not mean that ScanAI has verified a shop’s licences, insurance, certifications, legal compliance, service quality, safety, or suitability.
- No emergency service. Service-related features are not emergency dispatch, roadside assistance, towing dispatch, law-enforcement support, medical support, or live safety monitoring. If you are in danger or need urgent help, call local emergency services or a qualified roadside/towing provider.
9. User Content & License
- User content. You retain ownership of the content you post (including text, photos, videos, vehicle and modification data, events, comments, messages, shop profiles, mechanic profiles, service listings, booking notes, review content, reports, responses, and other materials) (“User Content”).
- License to ScanAI. By submitting User Content, you grant ScanAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from (for formatting and display), distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display such User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service.
- License to other users. You also grant other users a non-exclusive license to access and use your User Content through the Service, consistent with the functionality of the Service and these Terms.
- Responsibility for content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have all necessary rights to post it, including any rights in photographs, videos, and third-party materials.
- Service content. If you submit shop, mechanic, service, booking, review, report, estimate, quote, credential, licence, certification, warranty, or business information, you represent that it is accurate, current, lawful, not misleading, and that you have the rights and authority needed to submit it.
- Content removal. You may delete certain User Content via the app, and we may moderate or remove User Content that violates these Terms or our policies. However, copies may persist in backups, logs, or internal systems for a period of time in accordance with our Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
10. Reviews, Ratings, Endorsements, and Reports
Drivurs may allow users to submit reviews, ratings, reports, responses, endorsements, or other feedback about shops, mechanics, services, events, or content.
- Genuine experience. Reviews and ratings must be based on a genuine experience and must not be fake, misleading, purchased, coerced, manipulated, retaliatory, or submitted for an improper purpose.
- Material connections. You must clearly disclose any material connection that could affect how others evaluate your review, rating, endorsement, or recommendation, including employment, ownership, family, financial, free-service, discounted-service, incentive, sponsorship, or business relationships.
- No self-review or insider manipulation. Shops, owners, employees, contractors, mechanics, affiliates, family members, and competitors must not submit or procure fake, undisclosed, misleading, or manipulated reviews.
- Moderation. We may remove, hide, label, restrict, decline to publish, or investigate reviews, ratings, responses, reports, or endorsements that we believe violate these Terms, our policies, applicable law, or platform-integrity rules.
- No guarantee. We do not guarantee that reviews, ratings, reports, endorsements, or responses are accurate, complete, representative, verified, current, or suitable for your decision-making.
11. Community Conduct & Acceptable Use
You agree to abide by our Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. In particular, you must not:
- engage in hate speech, harassment, or targeted abuse;
- share content that is pornographic, exploitative, or excessively violent;
- share private or personal information about others without consent (doxxing);
- upload viruses, malware, or attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others; or
- use Drivurs in a way that encourages unlawful manual app interaction while driving.
Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans, at our sole discretion.
12. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including hosting, storage, analytics, mapping, address validation, geocoding, location search, communications, email, push notification, SMS, moderation, payment, security, and customer-support providers. User-generated media, service data, booking data, address data, messages, and notifications may be processed using third-party infrastructure providers.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality, safety, quality, or performance of third-party services, shops, mechanics, payment providers, mapping providers, address-validation providers, communications providers, venues, advertisers, or linked websites. Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
13. No Duty to Monitor; No Duty to Rescue
- No general monitoring obligation. Drivurs does not have a general obligation to monitor content, messages, events, service requests, bookings, reviews, reports, or user behaviour. We may use automated tools and human review for moderation, safety, and legal compliance, but we do not review all content in real time.
- Reporting and response. We may act when violations are reported to us, including by removing content, suspending accounts, restricting service features, or contacting relevant parties, but we do not guarantee any particular response or timeline. Our decision not to act in a particular situation does not waive our right to act in similar or related situations in the future.
- No emergency services. Drivurs does not provide emergency response, towing dispatch, roadside assistance, live safety monitoring, or repair rescue. If you are in danger or need urgent help, call local emergency services or a qualified roadside/towing provider immediately. We have no duty to rescue or intervene in any event, meetup, service appointment, or incident.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
- We expressly disclaim all warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
- Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;

- any shop or mechanic will perform services safely, lawfully, professionally, on time, within estimate, with appropriate parts, with valid insurance, with valid licensing, or to any particular standard; or
- any vehicle will be safe, roadworthy, legal, insured, or fit for use after any service, repair, inspection, modification, or advice discovered through the Service.
Some provinces and territories do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In such cases, we limit warranties and conditions to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Exclusion of certain damages. In no event will ScanAI, the Drivurs service, or our officers, directors, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, vehicle use, transportation, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, any events or activities discovered through the Service, or any service-related features.
- Specific risks. Without limiting the foregoing, we have no liability for any claims, losses, injuries, or damages arising from:
- motor vehicle accidents, collisions, or mechanical failures;
- personal injuries, death, or property damage occurring before, during, or after any event, meetup, drive, service appointment, or offline interaction;
- vehicle modifications, tuning decisions, repairs, inspections, diagnostics, estimates, quotes, or reliance on community or service-related information;
- misrepresentations or omissions by hosts, shops, mechanics, customers, reviewers, or other users;
- illegal or dangerous driving, including street racing or stunt driving;
- unauthorized or unlawful use of the Service by any user;
- services, repairs, inspections, diagnostics, estimates, quotes, modifications, parts, labour, warranties, refunds, rework, storage, towing, transportation, test drives, shop supplies, disposal fees, taxes, or payment disputes involving any shop, mechanic, customer, or third party;
- personal injury, death, property damage, vehicle damage, loss of vehicle use, diminished value, theft, loss of keys, loss of parts, loss of personal items, data loss from vehicle systems, or insurance issues connected to any shop, mechanic, service, appointment, or offline interaction;

- disputes between customers, shops, mechanics, employees, contractors, insurers, parts suppliers, lenders, lessors, manufacturers, regulators, or other third parties.
- Overall cap. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) CAD $100 or (b) the total amount you paid to us (if any) in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct where such limitations are prohibited.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScanAI, the Drivurs service, and our officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- your use of the Service;
- your driving, events, meetups, or participation in activities discovered through the Service;
- your User Content, including vehicle, modification, shop, mechanic, service, booking, review, report, or business data;
- your use of service-related features, including any shop profile, mechanic profile, service listing, service request, booking, appointment, review, report, message, estimate, quote, payment, refund, warranty, repair, inspection, modification, or offline interaction;
- if you are a shop, mechanic, owner, manager, employee, contractor, or business user: your services, business operations, licences, permits, insurance, qualifications, employment/contractor relationships, workplace-safety obligations, privacy obligations, consumer-protection obligations, tax obligations, environmental obligations, customer communications, customer property handling, vehicle handling, parts, labour, warranties, and compliance with applicable law;
- your violation of any Drivurs Shop Agreement, Mechanic Agreement, Service User Terms, or other service-related terms;
- your violation of these Terms, our policies, or any applicable law; or
- your infringement or alleged infringement of any third-party rights.
We may assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defences.
17. Disputes, Governing Law & Consumer Rights
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless applicable law requires or permits a different forum, you and ScanAI agree that disputes may be brought before the courts of competent jurisdiction located in British Columbia, Canada.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights, remedies, forums, notices, limitation periods, language rights, privacy rights, consumer-protection rights, automotive-service rights, employment or contractor rights, workplace-safety rights, regulatory rights, or other mandatory protections you may have under the laws that apply to you in your province or territory, including Quebec.
For service-related features, the laws of the province, territory, municipality, or other jurisdiction where a customer resides, where a vehicle is located, where a shop or mechanic operates, where a service is advertised, requested, authorized, or performed, or where an offline interaction occurs may impose additional mandatory obligations on customers, shops, mechanics, or ScanAI. These Terms do not remove those obligations or any rights that cannot be waived by contract.
If mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in another court, tribunal, regulator, consumer-protection office, privacy commissioner, or dispute-resolution process, these Terms do not take that right away.
18. Modifications to the Service & Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law, such as by updating the effective date above, posting a notice in the app, or sending you an email or notification.
If we introduce or materially change service-related features, shop features, mechanic features, booking workflows, paid features, legal acceptance requirements, data-sharing practices, or role-specific terms, we may require you to accept updated terms before continuing to use the affected features.
Where required by law, material changes will take effect only after any required notice period has expired. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service. If you have a recurring paid subscription, you may cancel it before the changes take effect, subject to any rights you have under applicable law and the billing terms that apply to that subscription.
19. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, our policies, or applicable law, or if your use poses a risk to other users, us, or third parties.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, license grants, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive.
